I'm in love with someone and her name is 'Interpolate'. Who do you love?

Random post I know.... but some times you just have to shout it out to the world...
I LOVE YOU INTERPOLATE!!!
I'm just making a menu for a new 'Contented Baby Sleep' App for the ipad, and just tested moving the menu around using interpolate with ease in and out, and it worked first time, and looks so damn cool...
So all I have to say is interpolate rocks my world!! , I've used it before but I feel we've passed that awkward getting to know each other stage and our relationship is really blossoming.
I say "move over here", she seductively says "how fast", I say "over 2 seconds" she whispers back, do you want it soft or hard....I say "start moving soft but end hard"... movement perfection....
Are any of you having a love affair with a behavior...?

We had great times together when we first met. I'd press her buttons. She'd pause. Then after, we'd go our separate ways as if nothing had happened, both knowing that things just *worked*.
I must admit I harbour some of the blame. I took her for granted, assumed she'd always be here... then one day... gone...
No more flicking to a screen and returning to find things just how I'd left them. No more effortless fun...
My god, I've waited for her to come back, hoping that she'll be a new woman - full of vigour and sass... but I can't see her.
As I fall into the abyss where her love once was, I try and slow down, try and pause, but I can't. So I fall. Forever falling. No way to pause...
I miss you, Presere Previous Scene checkbox... remember when we used to shine?

P.S - Please come back to me...

We fell out a minute ago, when she decided not to do what I commanded of her... now back to the cellar with you.
My only advise on the story of love that cannot be...perhaps you will get some happiness from previewing your project and pressing the pause button on the preview screen... just touch her soft button... and whisper in her ear.... Ppppaaaauuuussseeee.....
(Hmm...this thread may just make all te readers feel slightly ill...)
I've tried that. I gave it a go. But its just a distant echo of what we had before...
I'll be on the sofa cutting her image out of all our past and future games... i just can't bear to look at her anymore. To be reminded again and again of what we once had.

I like...
+ Interpolate
+ Particles
+ Positional Sound
I dislike...
- Gravity (I usually set my actors to accelerate)
- Random (...because it doesn't really seem to be random)
And in general... I hate the GameSalad load times. I think that's one of the main issues that separates GameSalad from being a truly professional game development tool. I can't make a decent presentation of a GameSalad game when it starts off with the words, "Oh, just wait 10-20 seconds until it loads."
...and the choice of sound formats seems to be an issue. I'd prefer to use .ogg but that seems to be a severe performance hit.
...AND not being able to take a screenshot of iPad games on normal sized monitors is an issue.
...AND the $2000 price for pro is nuts. Links and custom title screens should be standard. I basically paid $99 to be a beta tester and a promoter of GameSalad.
If not for cool features like Interpolate, Particle effects, decent physics and a simplistic way of creating games, I'd probably be really grumpy with GameSalad.
Heh... now I'm just moderately grumpy with GameSalad.

I marvel at her abilities and her potential. I am amazed at her subtle beauty to add so much to my game, with so little effort. She asks "What shape do you want? What size? How fast? How should I display them? Where should they go?" And it's so smoooooooooooooooth... fading, random offsets, color conversions, rotating particles, amount of time that I see them...
My only concern is that Ms. Particle is going to become "high maintenance" as I rely on her further. Higher performance cost for that beauty, just like an expensive sports car... but until then, she's the one for me.
P.S. - this is a great thread, and a great context.
