Game Center ad hoc: achievements repeat

I am testing my game center achievements in ad hoc -- they trigger properly, however they update more than once even after 100%.

For example, I have an achievement for doing a level under a certain amount of time. It is a single event unlock (not incremental) yet EVERY time a level is completed under this amount of time, the achievement updates.

Is this just a sandbox/ad hoc issue?
