"Cannot post tweet. Error code 403"

Hi there.

I have just created the first Ad Hoc of my game and went to test the tweet function out, however, it game up with the error:
"Cannot post tweet. Error code 403"

I adjusted the editable by player function on and off. When turned off (what i'd prefer) it came up with the earlier stated error - but when turned on, it came up with the error: 'Cannot Send Tweet' ... 'Cannot send because the connection to twitter failed'.

Am i doing something wrong or is this a known bug?

Hi @daryljburton First to say, it's against Forum rules to post identical threads - you've already posted this. I'll delete that first one now. Multiple threads which are the same in Forums is confusing.

It's best to wait for at least a hour, if not two, then if you still haven't got an answer, put the word "bump" or the words "Anyone help please?" as a post after your own thread. This will bring it to the top of the Forums list and so get better attention again.

As to your question, you need to be logged in to Twitter for it to work properly (via Settings). Hope that helps.

Ah, did not realize - apologies!

I am logged in to twitter on my iPhone and my app is allowed access, yet the error still shows?

Hmm, still got the prob. though....you've got a good signal for Twiiter presumably? I can't think what else it would be, sorry....

Im at home using my Wifi so can use Twitter just fine.

I've uploaded some pictures just to make sure im not missing anything stupid.

Okay, it's just randomly started working after trying again.

Have no idea what was wrong with it, but it works... so all is good!

You're welcome. Sounds like it could have been a server connection problem possibly... anyhow, glad it's sorted now. :-)
