Music Volume issues

I've searched the forums and have come up empty. I've created a basic volume control with 6 buttons in a row. Pressing the first sets the Device Audio Music Volume to 0 while the 6th sets it to 1. When I'm testing on my mac it works perfectly, but when I take it into the viewer on my iPhone it no longer works. I've done an adHoc now and I'm having the same issues.
