After seeing so many really cruddy Free iOS games on App store rocket into top 5 lately "Tiny Flying Drizzy" (#1) (omg bad) and "Jumpy Jack"(#2) ... I wondered how this is possible, since the Apps are terrible and majority get really good ratings.
Well apparently there are multiple services that will download and give high ratings to your App so long you dish out the cash.
I'm guessing these two Apps used the service.. among others. It's kind of unfortunate, and hopefully Apple gets better at regulating fake crud.
Any how - the article I posted is interesting, and gives ya an idea of what is REALLY going on. Note - I do think Flappy Birds maybe legit just because of the publicity it got from some sources (popular youtube channel, pew, for example)- but these other wannabe Apps.. no way.
Opinions/comments?
