Massive slow down not able to release Jungle Bug

I have been fighting with slowdown for our new game Jungle Bug and i'm afraid it gets unplayable at 9fps later on (starts at a nice 50fps).
Lost and don't know what to do....not sure why the longer you play the more it lags as i only increase speed of platforms and introduce new power ups (6 in total).
Tried removing custom score, removing a moving background, going through code to see any leaks etc etc.
Doesn't look good for Jungle Bug and it was going to be our most polished game to date..sigh.
If someone wants to look at the game i would be willing to send the file (trusted members only).
This is what it should play like but it's not even close on the iphone

Looks fantastic though!
Also, what version of the iPhone are you using?
I WILL get it perfect!!! lol eventually.

Another Q i have is a lite version, i would love to make a lite (with a comp to collect the most glow worms for 10 free copies) but this sort of game i can only think of ending the Lite at say 500 points....i have a feeling a time/score restricted Lite would be rejected?

I've just released a 5 level version of quake builder, remade the level select screen, so it does not show what would be available in the full version, when you complete it you then get the advert for the full game. Plus its also in the info section of the game.
Along with 4/6 power ups, shrink, slow, stop and reverse so that leaves the mighty fire and super bug for paid version

I had massive slow downs and horrible frame rates for a while too. Even after pulling everything out the problem was still there and the file size was bloated.
I made a completely fresh file and gradually copied / duplicated the game and it was a fifth the size and ran over double the frame rate.
I think I had been working on the file for so long and doing "save as" that I was working on a corrupt file and never knew it.
Just a thought anyway in case that helps. Good luck on your cool game!
Mike
It looks great! I hope you figure out how to fix the slowdown.
