Moving actor based on "+" or "-" points??

Hey there.

I have an actor that when he kills a bad guy he moves up one spot and when he misses a bad guy (bad guy passes him off the screen) he moves down one spot. Anyone have advice on how to do this or maybe know of a resource or a template that might be found? I'm still new to GS so I hope this is not too complicated. I was thinking about using the same set for a health bar but a health has a graphic that expands and contracts with points. I want to move the actor based on points.

    Is this similar to what you want?
    Use the arrow keys to move and hit the bad guys to kill them and move up, otherwise miss them and move down.

    Wow, SWEET! Thanks for the reply and for sharing your file.

    This is the movement however I have the actor shooting the bad guys. So I guess I just need to add in the middle "bullet" actor into the mix. So, when bullet collides with bad guy, good guy move up.
