How to accelerate at a constant rate?

Is there a way to accelerate an actor at a constant speed? Right now it is accelerating gradually in speed and I need it to move at a constant speed all of the time. (By the way I need a flowing movement since this is a labyrinth style game)

You probably want to use a 'Change Velocity" behavior instead of 'Accelerate'.

    • Speed = how fast something goes
    • Velocity = Speed in a certain direction
    • Acceleration = change in Velocity

Yes, accelerate is just that. Start slow, speed up!
The move options are a steady speed, I think, as well as change velocity, as @RThurman‌ stated.

No ! The definition of 'accelerate' means to move off slowly (usually from a standing start) and build to your target speed - or to start to move more quickly than you were previously, so you cannot 'accelerate' at a constant speed.

If you simply want to move at a constant speed (even from a standing start) try something like Move or Change Velocity.

I have the same problem. Will try change velocity.

    Change velocity works really well...
