cannot upload my application to appstore

in Working with GS (Mac)

I am using application loader, to upload my zip file that i downloaded.

issue apples web service operation was not successful

unable to authenticate the package: """""""".itmsp

ERROR ITMS-9000: "no .app bundles found in the package" at SoftwareAssets/SoftwareAsset
(MZitmspSoftwareAssetPackage)

Could not start Deleiver: all transports failed diagnostics

help needed

    hi as im am learning how to do this, what i have done so far is this
    a: finished creating my app
    b: generated the app
    c: sign the app
    sign the app takes me or sends to gamesalad as default and starts downloading app package then takes me to app signing settings popup, (ios provisioning profile) i choose, the ios team provisioning profile: codesign wants to sign using key """" in your keychain..
    alow..then my documents page pops up.. application loader> Packages and my game.zip is fainted so i cannot select it or i think it saves it to the folder.. once ive saved it congratulation page pops up ... with headings show in finder, itunes connect and publish i choose show in finder and there it is under packages, my game.zip
    next.. i go to publish.. i go to deliver my package and select my package.. adding application send.. game.zip and again ERROR ITMS-9000: invalid provisioning profile, missing code-signing certificate..?

    i dont understand??\ Help needed
