Trivia style game

Anyone know how to make a game know when the questions is answered correctly by typing the answer.
Example: I have a trivia game but instead of selecting answers I want it to be able to recognize my answer that I type example Capital of US I type washington dc I want the game to know that is correct. how is that possible I have the keyboard and graphics but I can't get the game to know what I type is correct please help. thanks

    I have the keyboard made but I cant get it to recognize based on typed answers

    Maybe multiple choice is a better way to go?
