Hey guys, quick question... I still don't have my Intel mac so can't find out the answer for myself just yet... does GS support traditionally animated sprites (eg - separate image frames) or does it have a keyframe based system similar to flash, or both? I'm definitely a fan of traditional ;)

I dunno, really. For my current game, Chouji, I have the player character(a butterfly)'s wings flap and to do that I had to create two images, one with the wings up, and one with the wings down and then put both images into the Animation behavior and the set some settings, and it works.

Ah, sweet... at least I know it does what I want it to. Thanks!

Yes, only separate images. There is no timeline.

You can set the frame rate of the animation, and whether or not you want it to loop.

Sweet, I'm all for "proper" animation... not a fan of the "flash" stuff... feels like cheating ;)
