Originally I worked on my game in the windows gamesalad version. I transferred my work to my mac and published it to gamesalad portfolio. After I sign the apk and try and upload it to my gmail, I get message Virus detected and it won't let me upload. What is going on? Why am I getting a false positive and how do I get rid of the so-called virus issue?

@andrewhnovak@gmail.com Are you trying to attach it to an email? If so, simply zip the file before upload.
I did zip the apk and I still get "Virus Detected" when I try uploading the zip file. Is this a common issue or something? Because it concerns me when publishing my game.
The virus detected has been an issue with apps made with GS. Google sees the file as having a virus when it does not.
This error was supposed to have been fixed I thought with an update to the publishing server. Or perhaps it was only the nightly build that has this fixed and 10.4.1 is still causing it.
Are you using 10.4.1 or an earlier version?
I am using Creator 0.10.4.1, but I don't see a later build for the windows version
no thats all you have for the windows version i believe. There was an issue with devices calling the apk a virus but that sounds like a setting in your gmail or a setting in your browser. you should send a bug report to GS but i have a feeling the issue is not on their end.
It works if I send the file through Google drive and install it through that but says it's a virus if I try and open it with gmail.
What I really need to know is will this issue go away when I publish to the google play store.
