Image Optimization not working in Game Salad
I have been trying for days to compress my images, and it seems no matter what I do, the file that is returned by publishing increases the size of all my images significantly.
This is the latest attempt using ImageOptim, which ran all night and reduced my image folder from 97 MB to 86 MB, but the Gamesalad file still returned from publishing as 106 MB, adding a full 20 MB onto already compressed images, with the full project being 116 MB (And no, Resolution Independence is not turned on). Earlier I had compressed them using Image Alpha and gotten the files down to a fantastic 45 MB, but still Gamesalad returned an even larger file at 130 MB. Am I just screwed? It's so important to be below the wifi download thresholds, but I can't figure out how to get it to let me use my compressed images, and it seems moot to use Gamesalad if its not possible to control the size of assets.
