Application Loader Issue

I was about to upload my app package via application loader but it is not included in the drop down list of app packages. Anyone encounter this problem and if so what the possible issues might be? I have all provision files installed in xcode and have signed the app. Everything is ready to go but, it's just not showing up. I just uploaded another game with no issues and used the same procedure.

    @dreichelt‌ When you say, "but it is not included in the drop down list of app packages", do you mean not in the sidebar under Applications on your Mac, or do you mean in Xcode?

    Either way, just launch it from your main Applications folder, and while you are there drag an alias of it into the Dock for future use.

    I personally like to let the GS congradulatuons option window come up and launch application loader from there. So fat for me..it has been a flaless method and has always located the loader on my mac and opened.

    @PhilipCC‌ I mean from Xcode. I go to Developer Tools >Application Loader. When I choose the app package from there it's not in the list. It's not an Application I can open. I'm referring to the App package generated from Gamesalad for uploading to my itunes connect account.

    You need to compress the .app file to a .zip file.

    It is compressed. I think I'm just going to create the prov files from scratch and start over. There's something missing along the way I think and I'm not sure what. If I start from scratch I should be good to go.

    Ok. Does it allow you to select your application to upload your app file to? If not you could have forgot to click ready to upload binary.

    @bjandthekatz That's why you are the master and I am but the student. That was the problem thanks man! One day I will snatch that GameSalad app from your hand!

    @dreichelt‌ It is really easy.

    Launch Application Loader from your Applications Menu in the Finder. Just navigate to wherever you put your compressed "MyGame.app.zip".

    If this is difficult to understand, go back to: http://cookbook.gamesalad.com/tutorials/3/parts/13

    @Thunder_Child‌ Hey that's a good tip. I've never tried it from the GS Congratulations window. Just curious, but how do you compress the .app file before Application Loader sends it if you do it straight from there?

    You dont compress...it is compressed during signing..the file generated is ready for apple uploading.

    Just be sure you have completed your app info in iTunes connect for your app and click ready to uploa binary. You will be good to go. I have done this several times now if you do the process in the correct order it works everytime I have done this.

    @PhilipCC‌ I actually have uploaded many times it was just that this time I failed to realize that I hadn't clicked on ready to upload binary as @bjandthekatz‌ suggested. That was the issue. Actually I usually launch Application Loader from X code, but I guess there are many ways to do anything.
