My game originally consisted of sprites and sprite animation. I have since changed it to vector shapes that I made in Illustrator and animated it in After Effects for I was sick of drawing things out frame by frame . That update isn't out yet but I have a video showcasing what it looks like thus far.
Just remember this is my first ever game and I have never done anything like this (creating a game, or ANY art) in my life. I did not use any templates. I strictly drew these from tutorials I found around the internet and created the game with no help other than working on this forum. So let me know what I can change/do better and how I can make this an awesome game before I release this update into the wild!

Hey I've just watched the video,
Here's what I would suggest:
Remember the harder the game the more addictive

Congrats on making your first game. It's a great way to learn what works and what doesn't. Also congrats on resisting the temptation of using a template, you learn so much more building things from scratch!
Swiping down doesn't seem like the most natural way to control the dive. Maybe a swipe forward would be better. I just see down as something intended for ducking. I also think the sign on the bushes is not needed. You can just make the bushes more dense, possibly with another type of bush mixed in there, or even a tree to replace the sign. Add more obstacles or different kinds. A car, fence etc. The buttons are very hard to read, choose more contrasting colors, but that are still in harmony with each other. Brown background and white text with black stroke would be as simple as I could explain it.
Also, a bit of a bug to see the ground slide in at the score screen.
There is more I would do, but for your first game, keep it simple and get it done so you can move on.

Looks pretty damn good to me for a first effort.
My one piece of input would be to have a music track to add some ambience.
Great effort. Love the Robber art style and backdrop is cool.
Game design idea. Have a chasing cop or blue/red flights chasing the robber, getting ever closer and the robber collects pickups along the way to temporarily hold off the cops.
As the others have said, more variety on obstacles is great. Have items that relater like a Rottweiler, barbed wire fence etc. Any funky music or ambient sounds would add to the atmosphere.
Cheers,
The Guvnor.
