Open URL for rating question

I have the option of http and https. There is also the use embedded browser option. Could someone explain these to me? Also, is this the link you need for rating https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/app-name/id8########?mt=8 ?

That is the link that will bring you to the app store page of that game. To link it you would remove the https:// in the url and use the https:// option in gamesalad. Https is just a more secure protocol than http. The embedded browser will not open the link in safari, but a web browser native to gamesalad, so it doesnt leave the application.
I believe that with ios 7 there is no standard rating link anymore, so the user will have to click review themselves.

@bjandthekatz is it worth having a rate button anymore then? Would you recommend using the embedded browser or no?

I never use the embedded browser. I dont usually have rate buttons in my games, mostly because I dont think people care that much.
