How to save a show the users best score

Hi,
Im working on a project and I am stuck at one of the final stages of my app which is the score. I want to see how this works. My goal is to have my score displayed at the top when the user is playing the game. The score will go up by one but when the game is over I want the score to show the total amount of points the user got in a different custom font. I also want to know how to save the users score for their best score. Can anyone help me?
