I have been working on an app now for 3 weeks, and when I try to open it, it suddenly says "some scenes cannot be loaded" does anyone know what to do? If so, please tell me. Thanks

Sounds like the file might be corrupted, but it's hard to say without knowing anything about your project.

Personally I'd throw it in the bin and work from your last back up.

How do I go from my last back up? All I did was save it.

This happened to me all the time using Gamesalad on windows, I switched to Mac. You have to restart as it won't work now. The file corrupts when saving it.

When you create a project file and then update it, be sure to save incremental versions. Let's say you add a few features or fix a problem with your code. At that point, do a Save As and give it a unique name. Each time you do that, you're creating a backup that can be opened if the newest version doesn't work.

Also, you've created two threads with "Please help" as the title. You need to choose a thread title that explains your question, such as "some scenes cannot be loaded" or "problem publishing," etc.

Unfortunately if all you did was hit 'save' and repeatedly wrote over the same file for the last three weeks then you have no back up.

Normally when working on a project of any description (certainly one that you want to keep) - and in any software, not just GameSalad - you should incrementally save your project, every time you work on your project save it as XXX 004, then when you've made a little progress save it as XXX 005, then half an hour later when you've worked out the perfect speed for your enemy save it as XXX 006 . . . . and so on, after 3 weeks of work I would typically have a hundred or so files (XXX 001 to XXX 100), so even if XXX 100 got deleted / corrupted or otherwise destroyed I could simply go back to XXX 099 and continue on from there - only losing half an hour's worth of work.

Computer files get corrupted, GameSalad's file system seems a little shakier than most, but all software is subject to the occasional meltdown to some degree, if the project is really important incrementally save - and back up to a 2nd hard drive - and save a copy to somewhere like DropBox or MediaFire.
