Could GameSalad Be Used To Make, Say... Band Apps?

Hi everybody. I'm totally new to GameSalad and in the small bit of time that I've been exploring the program, it seems to be really cool and relatively user friendly. I have a question that I'm hoping you all won't find too crazy -- do you think that GameSalad could (relatively easily) be used to make a simple "band" app? That is, an app for a band that features photos, RSS feeds, music, etc...
Obviously, I know GameSalad is intended primarily to be for the development of games, but I wanted to get opinions on whether or not it was feasible to expand upon the program's usefulness to make other kinds of apps as well.
Thanks in advance for your time and I apologize if this seems like an odd/stupid question!

If it's upcoming bands you know personally and have their permission to use their content (I'm thinking of the music, primarily) then I don't see a problem.
If you're doing a 'Smashing Pumpkins' app and feature their music without their permission, you're in dangerous waters.
Hope that helps,

I guess my question is whether or not it would be simple to create the kind of static screens (with clickable areas and scrollable text, etc.) that one would imagine an app created for a band would have... I'm picturing that GameSalad, as a creation tool for games, is centered primarily around moving characters and things of that sort. Does what I'm asking make sense?
iDeveloperz, to answer your question, you could use music from artists whose catalogue is under public domain (this would primarily include classical artists). In the United States, the current copyright length for most works is the life of the artist + 70 years. When an artist dies, his or her works don't become public domain, as the beneficiaries of their estate are eligible to collect royalties on their behalf. Hope that helps.
Part of making a game is the menus! And some far more talented people than I have made some very snazzy ones!
Good luck to you, sir!
