DuesDues Member Posts: 1,159

Hey guys!

Im trying to capture som gameplay using screenflick, but the quality turns out really crappy and I got banding on gradients. Anyone knows whats the best preferences to use when recording? I have tried differens fps and different formats when exporting but it all looks bad.

Any suggestions or tips are very welcome :)

Yep, bought it, never got it to produce great quality screen captures, I tried just about everything.

All screen capture software tends to introduce some level of crappiness due to compression or weird gamma issues, and they all tend to drop frames now and again, none are perfect.

I bought an Elgato Game Capture HD device which records from your iPad, not a lot better to be honest.

If you want super high quality recordings you should buy yourself a Ninja hard disk recorder ( http://www.atomos.com/ninja/ ) and and HDMI output lead from your iPad / iPhone . . . . it'll only cost you a few hundred dollars ! :)
