I need to ask about Ad

in iPhone and Android Publishing

I have app, I haven't tick the ad box in attribute on gamesalad and when I publish it will I still get ad asking to use their ad? Or I have to tick the ad box in attribute on gamesalad then I'll start getting requests from ads? Thanks
