OS 4.0 on iPod Touch 2nd Gen.

I have a few questions.
-Does it work well?
-Will all my apps still work?
-Does it drain battery?
-After I restore it with OS 4 will all my app data (Games, etc.) still be there?
-Can I revert back to OS 3?

Any help is appreciated!

    I did this the other day, You don't get Multitasking or user wallpaper on the springboard(fail). The app launching and closing is so much faster and feels way more smooth. Not all your apps will work, most apps do though, Canabalt doesn't work for me (sadness) battery has been normal.
    When you restore, you can recover from a previous backup, which will restore the device with all your music and apps from your computer. Yes you can revert back to OS 3.1
