Captain Amazingly Incredible!

Hey guys,

We're working on a 2D fighting game entitled tentatively CAI: BATTLEFIST. It's a tie-in with our feature film Captain Amazingly Incredible and the Space Vampires from the Evil Planet!

As for the game itself, think Street Fighter 2 with politically incorrect humour.

Also, any suggestions for titles and/or features will be accepted but possibly laughed at :P

Yeah, shot it over a series of weekends. We all come from a background of fast-turn-around television (aka soaps), so the shooting bit was relatively straight forward. All greenscreen.

THEN it was a 3 year post production stint. Our DOP pulled out a few days before the shoot, so I had to handle that side of things and being an actor and sound guy, I didn't know what I was doing so I had a LOT to fix in post. All turned out alright though

Now I'm looking forward to creating the game. Same artist who did all the backgounds in the film is working with me. Hopefully we're not looking at another 3 years! Hahaha.

Oh, forgot to add... if we make enough dough to hire a couple of coders, there will be a Sega Mega Drive version of the game. Yes, a proper cart and all. Can't let those Pier Solar guys take ALL the glory! lol.

Hehe, yeah works better in the actual movie too... I wasn't too sure of that joke came across in the trailer but it seems it does!

I've actually put the game on the back-burner. Seems too tough to do a 2D fighter right now so I'm working on a more basic 2D shooter just to cut my teeth on GameSalad (is that the right term? LOL). And after a day of work I have almost one level completed! Even I'm happy with it... discovering GameSalad's (and my) limits...

All going well, I'll be uploading something to the app store in the not too distant future!
