hello all!
I have been working very hard on my game and now I thought it was time for another device viewer test. I installed new viewer and opened my game with it. loading took long and then it closed (crashed?!)
it works fine on the editor viewer but not on device. (testing on iPad1 with IOS 5, can this be the problem?)
after deleting a lot of actors it does open (I have like 150 actors and after deleting 50 it works). I don't want to change to less actors. any ideas what the problem can be and how I can fix this?
thank you so much for any answer!

I had similar issue with my game's ios version. Android was working fine, ios was crashing like yours. In my case it was not the quantity of the actors, it was one specific one was causing, after a lot of testing, i figure this out. That one actor was transparent png and much bigger than canvas and it was rotating. After i stopped rotation on that actor ios version start working...

So i dont know if you have same issue or not, i recommend you to eliminate some motions and test, if they are not in motion, maybe you should go one by one and try finding if it is one specific actor causing the issue for some reason.

Hope you can fix your problem, i know how frustrating when you got so close to gold build and having crash on device without knowing what causes this... Good luck...

I've had games that work fine on iPhone 5s & iPad mini but don't load or crash on iPad 1. I think GS games needs to limit to iOS 6 & above tbh. Older devices like iPad 1 just can't cope anymore. But that's just my opinion @timolapre1998‌

@miharo thank you for your comment. I dont think the problem is one specific actor but I will double check that.
EDIT: you were right... I had the exact same problem. a big rotating transparant actor. thank you so much :) now have to find a solution how I am going to make a nice background (loved this one...)

@gingagaming thank you for your comment also. I agree that iPad1 is too old. I am waiting for my birthday to ask newer iPad ;) I will try with an other iPad and see what it does.

    glad to help :)

GameSalad Team should take a note for this issue. Big rotating transparent actors might cause a crash on IOS devices for some reason...

Haha, the chances of you two having the exact same issue - right down to a giant rotating image, is almost surreal. Mind = blown.
