Help with iAds

We just finished our game and we are ready to begin putting it on the app store. But we do not know what to do first. I suppose technically we are not 100% finished as we have not officially placed ads in the game, or decided when they will appear with 100% certainty. We have pro. When we take the actor, and drag it out of the viewable are in the game, put the behavior "Show banner" in the actor, and make it appear on the bottom, it doesn't seem to work. What does happen is this. Whenever the ad is supposed to be displayed, or in this case the testing banner, the game pauses and says: "a banner ad would be displayed here. Please run the iOS or Android Viewer." Perhaps we just need to turn those on? How do we do this? We would like to publish this game for both iPhones and Androids so I suppose it is important to test on both iOS AND Android Viewer. Can someone please walk us through this and tell us what we need to do? We have been searching for the answer and trying things ourselves.

    @devmatt‌ the popup your seeing is just letting you know you'd normally see an ad. If you generate your game, sign it and use an adhoc to view it on your devices for testing, you should see the ads start to work then.

    One little tip I just learnt on the weekend, make the banner transparent, otherwise when the ad's not showing, you will just see a white box on your page, especially in android as iAD doesn't work on the androids

    Thanks a lot! I will make the actor with the "Show banner" behaviour transparent. How do we go about putting the game on our phones for testing. One of us has an iPhone, and the other Android. We want this game available for both.
