I was wondering why gamesalad is so weak and limited compared to other game engines? I was introduced to a world of limited and weak game making by gamesalad, full of forums with ignorant people who pretend they can code. Only a month ago i realised that i have gained nothing from the whole experience and i made a very good desicion, to move on. It really isn't you know. Plenty of people have had success with GameSalad. If you're finding it weak and limited, a look in the mirror will show you why.
But don't worry, everyone gets better with practice!
Mirror time again!
I've never pretended to be a coder. In fact, I find that's usually found in places where they swap 'scripting' for 'coding' in their vocabulary.
Making games is about logic. Like I said, I'm not a coder. But code is just logic, and the manipulation of that logic to produce things.
The syntax changes - c#, c++, Java etc etc - but the core idea of using logic remains the same.
You'll have picked up more than you realise, but I wish you luck on your masterpiece!
