How long does Amazon Marketplace take to authorise apps?

Hi Everyone.

I'm ready now to publish my first app to Amazon Marketplace but was wondering how long it may take for the Amazon team to authorise an app.

I also have the iOS version ready and I wanted to try to launch them both simultaneously and I know iTunes Store takes 7 days.

Does anyone have experience of how long it takes

Also, I understand there is a fee to launch on Googleplay but this is a one off fee...is this true?

Amazon can take anything from 24 hours to 5 days to approve an app. Hell knows why. An average would be 48 hours.

Google play charges a one off fee and publishes normally after a few hours. Everything is automated using Google

Thanks for letting me know about that. Can I ask about merchant account, it shows that I have to put a business name and address?

I don't really want to advertise my home address...what do other people put in this section?
