Actor not showing up? please help

hello, whenever i try to use a template for game salad and i try to change the image for the character it shows up on the screen as that image but when i test the game it completely dissapears. i have tried using 3 different templates from different developers and they all have the same problem. please forgive me as i am a total noob and i am just fooling around and tweaking apps to have fun.

Are you dragging it in to the images window inside the project & then opening up your actor and then dragging if from the images window into the actor window at the top?
no, i am dragging it straight from windows to the actor
There is your problem then @caohorse you must import the image into the project first. Then use the image in your actor.
@gingagaming i tried that but i still have the same problem
can i send you a link to the template so you can help me? its a flappy bird template with attributes to change colors. i only want one thing to show up, not change to 3. when i completely delete the change colors attributes, only one type of bird shows up. but when i change that image, it totally dissapears

@bjandthekatz i dont know. i am not using this to upload on the app store. i am just using this to gain more experience with gamesalad. i guess you could say i am studying it lol
Im sorry @caohorse but the link your providing is a link to an illegal download of another mans work. Im not going to condone this nor help you any further on this subject.

Isn't piracy still piracy? Whats the difference if your uploading it to the App Store or not?

@gingagaming @bjandthekatz i purchased the $10 template from the original maker but i was providing the link so you could help me and not have to pay $10. do you know of any free templates similar that you could help me with? or have you purchased a template like this? i am sorry as i did not know that that link was piracy
