Hey people, this is my next game after Stairs, a bit more complex this time.
A thrilling 8 BIT adventure for your iPhone or iPad. Wounded Man must escape the enemy, using any vehicles he can find.
Send me an E-mail for promocodes, at info (a) apostrophe.biz. And I'd love a good review!

I bought this, just because I enjoyed your last game!
I find this strangely compelling. Played it a couple of times so far, and it's certainly full of tension! Great stuff!
The only issue I have is that I'm still not sure exactly how you start a game, and inadvertently get sent to your website by accident. It's a bit frustrating, especially as it takes a while to load (the game).
Sometimes a simple 'start' button will suffice you know!
Anyway, great stuff! Different and fun

I see what you mean. I thought I made it clear with the blinking arrows, but I guess not... You grab the wounded man button on the right, and then drag it downwards to desired difficulty. When you release the button the game should start.
I will have to do something about that. Thanks for the input.
I understood the 'select difficulty' thing, and really liked it. Didn't realise it started the game though!

(where the GO-button is yet to be approved )
I think you could pretty quickly make a 'campaign mode', with a loose story line, slightly changing locations, and ramp up the difficulty as it goes.
Also it was hard for me to tell what was a vehicle, what was scenery, and what would blow me up at times.
Overall very fun game however. I'll say it again, the whole concept is fantastic.
I've been trying to be true to the hand held console-concept, like the machines I hade when I was a kid. If I were to add levels, a story mode, increasing difficulty and so on I probably would have to make the screen clickable, and loose that vintage feel. It was at the very end I added the little hi-score head, and even that made me feel a little untrue to the concept.
I'll consider making a story mode though, it sure would be fun to do. Maybe I could add more analogue buttons on the side...
Pair that with some different backgrounds, a few audio tracks, a cutscene or two between levels, and your done. Maybe you could slowly introduce more vehicles as the game goes on, or only have skis on the snow levels, etc.
What I had in mind, I think you could pretty easily implement in one days worth of hard work.
If you complete the game (get to the goal) then start again, you start right by the goal. In other words, the game doesn't reset properly
This is on the latest update (loved the blinking 'go' button btw!)
Good luck!

Just thought you should know. But, it's also a testament to how much I like the game that I'm still playing it
