You would use the Keyboard Input behavior. You can search for keyboard input gamesalad on Google and you'll find a bunch of videos that show how to use it. Or you can make a custom keyboard which is a lot more work (or use mine: http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/comment/451764/#Comment_451764).
