Google Play... 2 versions of same game?

We are looking to release an app for the iphone and android phones. We plan on making the game free with an iap to unlock the rest. Since we cant do iap on Google Play, is it possible to do a free game, and then have a url link to the store with the full priced one? Will google let us 2 apps that are very similar?
