Actor Dimension Question

Hi. If I import and image which is 100x100px. The size is set to 76x76px instead of 100x100px. Why is this? I know I can easily change it but it shouldn't do this right? Is this a bug or what? That means (tested already) when I have resolution independence enabled, the 100x100px square is 36x36px. Why the hell is this??

    Very strange indeed... The file should be coming up as the actual size when you drag it onto the stage. Is this happening for all of your images?

    It is indeed JodyMitoma.
    I thought it was some kind of bug, but I need this resolved ASAP it is so frustrating!

    Check to make sure that the images you are importing are 72 dpi. You can open them in Preview to double-check.
