Here is a video that compares the Windows and Macintosh interfaces, is that what you're looking for?

@jamie_c thanks its part of it but im looking for a tutorial which will help me start. Could you offer any advice. But thank you so much for your help. Also how do you fit your games to fit the latest iphones and ipads( Iphone 5, 5s, 5c, Ipad air) etc.....
@jamie_c im specifically looking how to create a game from start to finish.
I want to make my own template music actors everything
@TaeMan, I'm sure there must be Windows specific tutorials on youtube, try searching for "Windows Gamesalad" if you haven't already. I'm a Mac user primarily so I'm afraid I can't off much Windows assistance.

Same here, I'm afraid. I do have plans to finally get Windows 8 up and running in VMWare and could make some new tutorials but I bet that the moment I get that set up is the moment GS releases the cross-platform version.
I did update the FAQ with Windows-specific links that you might find helpful: http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/66768/forum-faq#windows.

@tatiang, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the cross-platform update is more Mac and less Windows!

How about dimensions for iPhone 5 5s 5c and the newest iPads does gs have that?? @Thunder_Child @tatiang @jamie_c
Yes they do. Use iPhone landscape or iPhone Portrait for the current models of the iPhone. iPhone legacy is referring to the 4s and below.

As you are new to GS...you will find building for all platforms...even just iOS can be somewhat difficult. There are a few ways to do Universal Builds...and I mean that as in resolutions for screens of different sizes. Although I def dont have any place giving much advice for doing these....i will say however, the stretch option during publishing has been a great help to me. I would suggest you scour the forums for UB....i havent quite figured it out yet so I use the stretch option. I dont intend to always use it but for me...for now it reduced my headaches when wanting my games to be able to play on all iOS devices screen sizes.

@Thunder_Child what games do you have on the App Store??
@TaeMan I have Cosmic Clusters for iPad only and No Escape 2014 for Mac. Cosmic Clusters will be re released soon for all iOS. Im currently working on 3 games for release to all iOS (now that stretch was available in the latest GS release) and Mac Platforms in the next month. "Sky Blaster", "Flappy Must Die" will be up for review I hope by this weekend and my first actual built from scratch (no template) game...."Maze Craze" I am currently adhoc testing about 8 games including those three. Luckily I have 15 beta testers as well. :-)
Keep in mind I have only been using GS since Oct of last year and although I have tons if stuff to learn...I actually think it weighs a ton...lol...I have been learning a great deal through the forums...youtube...the cookbook...using templates to see what makes them tick...and lastly...just clicking buttons and see what works and what doesnt. Dive in !!!!
Oh and also....gotta plug my tutorials. I will be releasing a tutorial as I learn things...hoping to help keep them current as I can. They may not help you as you may have this portion of GS down pat. If not....here ya go !!

@Thunder_Child i also want to create my own music, templates, everything for my game. It will probably take a while to do my game but do you know how i go about creating my own everything??
Well...some portion of that question I coukd answer...I have been remixing music for ovet 20 years...mainly other people music. Then for a spell I produced my own...although ametuer...all electronic. If you have money to spare you could buy Sonic Foundry Acid software. It has a music theme generator. Also...Frooty Loops is all over the net. Both for PC. For Mac you can use Garage Band.
As far a templates go...I use them to learn rules and what they can do...and now I try to make games from scratch using what Ive learned.
When it comes to graphics for your game...i used to doodle and can draw fairly well but my actual game graphics capabilities is my downfall. I used Shutter Stock or find them online. If you have an iOad you can use programs like Photoshop Touch to make some pretty cool abstract graphics. For Mac...I have struggked to find a good program like Gimp without throwing down some serious cash for an actual photoshop software.
Im still pretty noob at all of it And have even threatened to myself to quit over stupid things I cant figure out.
If I coukd just learn to animate I woukd really be kicking it up a notch.
Good luck. IF...I can ever help. I will try.
