hey!! just wondering that is it possible in anyway to submit a game created by gamesalad submitting to steam ??

    It's probably possible with HTML5 publishing.
    No one is known to have attempted it though.

    I don't see why not. There are GameMaker and Flash games on Steam. I think it's more a matter of the quality of the game, not the development environment that you use.

    I'm not sure how the installer side of things would work (same goes for Unity, but there are loads of Unity games on Steam). You'd probably need to get the GS team to help make it fully compatible if it were accepted. They'd be stupid not to, seeing as no other GS games are in there...

    I can't speak to HTML5 or Flash-based games, but Steam does accept Mac native binaries, so theoretically you could publish to Mac OS and submit, but there would probably be some necessary work on our end to enable the API's (achievements, etc).

    I'm personally pushing for PC binary publishing and would very much like to open up Steam to our users, so stay tuned. We've got a ways to go but we're working on a lot of important prerequisite tasks ;)
