Can you explain a little more. What is the timer supposed to change to?

ofcourse sorry. i have a timer to change the position of an actor and i setup a real attribute for the timer so i can control after how long the actor will move, i can get the attribute to change its value but when i does the timer doesnt change with it, it says on the initial set attribute.

thanks for the link very good demo the only thing is i dont want to random timer. i have it set at 2 seconds to start with than every 5 seconds after that i want it to slow down 0.1 of a second.

The demo I made uses a random interval but you could have a separate timer that every 5 seconds subtracts 0.1 seconds from the interval timer attribute.
