Help with Zanda

Hi everyone!!
I'm very new to GameSalad (just downloaded it this morning). I am trying to make a sort of zelda-style game as a wedding gift for my fiance! I've downloaded the Zanda template, but now I'm sort of at a loss. How do I use the template to create my own game?
Also, the art included with the template is beautiful, but I was wondering if there is an easy way to add in my own custom art? I want to make the game wedding-themed and I'd like to make the characters look like me, my fiance, and the wedding party.
Anyhow, the bottom line is that I have no idea what I'm doing and can use all the help I can get.
Thanks in advance!!

Sounds like a wonderful idea! You are starting with an advanced template, which means that the learning curve is steep. It took me about a year of using GameSalad extensively before I understood how that template worked. Expect to spend dozens of hours figuring out how to manipulate the template and customize it as your own. The Zanda template is sold by DeepBlueApps and any questions about using it should be directed to them.
You'll need to learn quite a bit about how GameSalad works. I strongly recommend that you start with a much simpler demo or template (there are many free ones on the forums and on third-party sites) to get familiar with rules, behaviors, and the general logic of GameSalad. There are also countless video tutorials... start with the Cookbook section of the FAQs: http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/66768/forum-faq.
