gamesalad viewer completely screwed [ white boxes replacing actor images ]

Hi all!
I am in the middle of creating a game and wish to view my game on the device without making adhoc versions.
However, over the past few releases [of the gamsalad creator], I have run into one major error with the gs viewer.

The problem: white actor boxes!!
I get a white box that replaces the image the actor is meant to be. Other actors are fine while only some actors are affected.

When I press "preview" everything is fine! but on the viewer it is not.

Can anyone help?
Do I need to post screenshots? I do not have time now - its getting pretty late down under!!
