Howdy. Is there anyway we can get screenshots of the full scene? i.e. i have a 5000 x 5000 scene which is built up of actors, i want a picture of the full scene, not just the 'playing area' we are currently in.

You'd have to do that by taking a screenshot of the actual computer. Might I recommend Jing? It's free.

I thought Jing was for screen recording? Also, can't you just use cmd+shift+3/4/4+space

I guess you'd have to do that for different parts of the scene and then photoshop them together.

Problem is, my game is for iphone (480 x 320), the scene is 5000 x 5000, you cant see the full size in the editor so arent able to do any kind of screenshot. Basically its a racing game, i want a picture of the full scene i have built to show the course, not just the 480 x 320 you can see!

We did this with Space Bump to make the previews for each level. I took a screen shot in Game Salad of the 1024x1024 screen. You will need to take multiple shots and assemble them in Photoshop or something to get the 5000x5000 image.

I made a "screen shot" version of the game so I could remove the HUD and all the other things I didn't want in the image. Was a bit of a pain. I also set the camera size to 0x0 and but could not get rid of the 480x320 line of the viewable area. This can be edited out in your graphics program if needed though.

You can also change 100% to 50% which might save you some time.

come on Gendai, make an easier way than this, i have a lots of scenes and shouldnt have to navigate around and take about 10 or so screenshots, then spend ages tiling and tidying them up just to get a preview of my whole scene! arghhhhh!!

The fact that there is no zoom is super annoying too, or being able to scroll through your games timeline so you can spawn actors without having to set up millions of timers....
