I was about to start a thread about it!
I'm really interested in discounted bundles. Also, I really like that TestFlight is built in now! Super crazy! All in all, it was an interesting release.

This was a great day for devs on iOS. Integrated Testflight is HUGE.
Been playing with iOS 8 for the past half hour or so. Not much to complain about yet aside from the App Store behaving incredibly slow!
Whoa I need to read stuff.
Anyone else having problems with gamecenter on ios8? When I try to look at my leaderboards it says game not recognized by gamecenter. it plays the game fine just that does not work.
Gamesalad doesn't support ios8 yet. Expect bugs

Yeah I know just was wondering if anyone else noticed it or maybe I have code messed up.
Since we are going to get video previews does anyone know what the best way to record the video for that? I know you can screen record the game being playing on the computer, but is there a way to do it on the phone?
Those are some nice additions for sure.
I'm especially looking forward to being able to show a video - it'll let players make more informed decisions without having to hunt down gameplay footage elsewhere.
The discounted bundles are a great idea too, especially if you have a series of games!
Interesting stuff!

@RCT_Games _ Yeah, there's a mirroring service for that, but the name escapes me at the moment.
Side note: been using iOS 8 since yesterday. Not nearly as many bugs as iOS 7 had, which is good! The App Store is incredibly slow at the moment though
I will look into it @tylerglessner thanks,
you can either use a screen capture utility to record the creator and crop it down, or buy reflector which turns your mac into an airplay device, so you can stream the entire mobile device over airplay, and use reflector's inbuilt recording

you know from the blurbs i was reading ( have not had a chance to just watch the whole thing yet) it looked like test flight will basically be available for anyone to try out your app. not just your 100 selected devs. Which is pretty cool. you could essentially build a following with free play before the game is even released. though scammers and cloners might be a problem there. Hmm...
All in all the software coming down the pipe looked pretty cool and the app store updates are pretty sweet as well.
even better, this will be awesome:

Yeah I'm debating on weather I want to update my mac or wait still.
Also I figured out my gamecenter issue. The added a switch in gamecenter settings that allow for sandbox mode to be on or off.
just received a e-mail from apple saying you can enable family sharing of apps.
On June 2, 2014, Apple introduced significant new features, including Family Sharing. Family Sharing allows up to six family members of a single Family to browse and access each other's iTunes, iBooks, and App Store purchases and share photos, a family calendar, and their locations. Family Sharing supports parental controls and also allows parents to approve purchases and downloads initiated by children in their Family.
To make your apps available as part of Family Sharing, agree to the updated iOS Paid Applications and/or Mac Paid Applications agreement in Contracts, Tax, and Banking on iTunes Connect. To ensure that Family Sharing is also enabled for previously purchased apps, leave the appropriate checkbox selected on the agreements page.
We've had family sharing for ever. It's called the same iTunes account on all devices. Lol
