'Waiting in review' longer than expected

I submitted my game on may 17th so it's been 7 days counting the day I submitted, and the status "waiting in review" has stayed the same throughout. Is this an average wait? I thought it would be around 3-4 days. Let me know how long your app took to be accepted or rejected. Thanks

the time is very random. just have to wait they do their thing.
don't fret! if you reject / resubmit the counter starts over!

It's such a treat to develop for the iPad. The review wait times seem to be shorter and there's so much room to work... bigger screen, better processing power. Although, my next app has been in review for almost a day now and this thread does make me a bit concerned. I'm not sure if I'll be ready for the May 28 International launch, but that's basically up to Apple's review team right now.
Seriously - It's how I got Xmas 2097 out before, er, Christmas after getting it in two days before Xmas eve!
Hope that helps,

What I would consider though is if you have a really long game to play through it might take longer because they have to go through all of it first, make sure theres no bugs, unintended use etc.
If anybody disagrees with this, speak up, but I think thats what your supposed to do.... Apples really shaky and opaque so sometimes its really hard to know..
@chosenonestudios - According to this checklist, you're supposed to set the availability date to the date it was approved. firemaplegames also talks about this in the How long before apps show on category list? forum topic where he suggests the day of or the day after.
