Help Apple Rejection Over Time Out On Initial Launch

Hello,

I got a new rejection by Apple:

2.2: Apps that exhibit bugs will be rejected

We found that your app failed to launch on iPad running iOS 7.1.1, on both Wi-Fi and cellular networks.

We encountered the issue when selecting the application on the Home screen - the app displayed a launch image then quit unexpectedly. This may be because iOS 7.1.1 uses a watchdog timer for applications; if an application takes too long to complete its initial startup, the operating system terminates the application.

Another possibility could be a missing entitlement. For more information, please see the Technical Note: Resolving "0x800003A", applications not launching and "missing entitlement".For discrete code-level questions, you may wish to consult with Apple Developer Technical Support. When the DTS engineer follows up with you, please be ready to provide:

  • complete details of your rejection issue(s)
  • screenshots
  • steps to reproduce the issue(s)
  • symbolicated crash logs - if your issue results in a crash log

Has anyone had a rejection related to time-out at initial launch? I can't even test this, as the game never had a problem in my testing on device with four of my developer friends.

    this is similar to what happened with my app.. they rejected it because it would go black at the launch screen im assuming its revmob playing up with my app but it works fine on my devices..

    Exactly the same in my case. I tried without Revmob too, but result is the same. There could be something wrong with GS.

    I've added IAds instead and sent it off hopefully should get reviewed tomorrow or later today I'll let you know the outcome:)

    I ended up having to remove all startup ads.

    Removing ads works on some apps but not all you will still get rejections this errors been happening to me for months
