Hey everyone. I just started using GS after dabbling with a few other platforms. I'm a computer science grad with a solid understanding of programming fundamentals. I write many VB macros in excel when I'm crunching data and creating reports. I also use it to simulate scenarios in the games I want to create.
I tried Corona, but I didn't have the time to learn the Lua scripting language with my schedule. GS has provided my the opportunity to jump right in and start building using a mostly self-explanatory system.
I'm looking forward to interacting with all of you and learning/helping with the rest of you.

I lived in Michigan once - very cold place!
We did just break our record this year for the most snowfall in a single Winter... At least today is going to be 80!
You should move down here to Florida with us. It's 80 in the morning when I wake up. ;-)
Well if I can make enough from a game using GS I might :P
