I need to make a image look almost like lighting striking. I am playing around with creating a game that uses power and when I press on something I want to be able to send power to it almost like a lighting strike I can get the image to appear in the correct spot but when I use interpolate to cause the strike it goes crazy.

What about an animated series of images to create the effect.

@colander Have not tried that By the image I was talking about the actor sorry for not clarifying that. I will try that later because I know that will work but I want to get the interpolate to work because thats how I want to setup the game.

I have a blue Box actor the image and when I click the Red box I want the blue box to interpolate down to the other image and touch it than go back up like a lighting strike.

@scuurpro if I understand you right you will need to interpolate the actors position.X (And Y if it is hitting at an angle) and the actors height (And width for an angled strike).

Alright I tried these things. But its still have problems When I click on the object the Blue Box that represents the actor that it supposed to interpolate shows up for a second and disappears and it doesn't move or grow.

Upload a screenshot of your rules or better still a test project so we can have a look.

@colander This is what I have been working right now its not setup correctly its more like something firing but basically I want the image to not move from its top Y position and go down and touch the Red Box. Like a lighting strike basically.

Why don't you try our free particle templates on DBA?

Wayne made 2 sets and they're really cool.

This is far from finished you will need to add your formula but it shows the idea. If you can't see the attachment refresh the page.
