There seems to be a great mystery as to what causes slowdown with GameSalad. Yet, we have a general idea that certain behaviors are more problematic than others...
- Constrain
- Timer
- Spawn
...and actors with graphics and physics are also an issue.
So, which is more important to the GameSalad community... my new game preview/tutorial video... or Project: Benchmark, where I measure the behaviors (and some workarounds to achieve the same effect) to see what causes the greatest slowdown.
Also, I'm just throwing the Project: Benchmark idea out there. If someone thinks that it would be a great traffic booster to their GameSalad fansite, then it's up to you if you want to conduct your own GameSalad FPS tests and share the results with the community.
