Timers!

kipdevkipdev Member Posts: 275

I've looked at timer videos but i cannot find what it is that im looking for. What i want is a timer that allows the end user to reset the time. For example lets say that they started the timer at 12:00 and it ran for 5 hours. I want them to be able to close the app and it still save that amount of time that has passed. The MAIN part of it would be if they wanted to set it back down to zero they want to. The app is for how long they spend time doing a certain activity, or time they have spent away from the activity.

Thanks in advance

You would have to work something out using the actual device clock instead of a timer behavior. Game time, timers etc... All stop running when the app is closed or suspended.

You would need something to log to actual start time and them compare and track the current time against that to be able to track the time while it's closed.

Ya i need multiple different timers. That save the amount of time they spend on each activity and then runs that time even if the app is closed, then they can open it, stop the time and that time be recorded for the specific category. Lets say they exercise for 30 mins on the treadmill. That time would be recorded, they could refer to it the next day. Same for like muscle work and other things. I know that gamesalad is a game program but surely there is some way to do this.
