Accelerometer cause actor to only be able to tilt one direction?

in Working with GS (Mac)

I am attempting to adjust the tilt controls of this game I am fixing. Though the one thing I cant figure out is why at first the actor was going in the opposite direction in which you tilt, but now after slight changes that you`ll see in the screenshot below, it now will only tilt when you do it to the right. Can anyone help?

    the lower rule should be < then -0.05
