Has registered with SaladGamers.com.
Published all their games.

Then decided to rip me off!

Looking for a 100% functionality clone of www.saladgamers.com there will minor changes ie. header control we can load it from the admin page, featured app control we will control and load the featured app from the admin page and add 25 free codes for users to access, members are not users members will create account on the site and log on and load there app in the same manor as saladgamers.com see screen shots, add banner will be under the control of the admin page. dynamic videos of loaded apps, dymanic page create for apps the site will create dynamically roll over and click on views JUST LIKE SALADGAMERS.COM random app display on home page all managed by the mysql database. the only other change will be to layout to give us a different look but with all of the same function.

Time is short this post is only for 48 hours and the project has a time line of 5 to 7 days. No longer after that the project will awarded to someone else. a escrow amount will 10.00 usd to start project and balance will be awarded after the site is loaded on our server and completely tested. A bounce will be considered based on quality of work and delivered ahead of schedule. please provide examples of your work. DO NOT BID IF YOU CAN\\\'T START AT ONCE AND COMPLETE ON TIME. REVIEW SALADGAMERS.COM before bidding it is the work you will be held to.

I am so angry, i can not begin to tell you. I only started this free site for the good of the GS community, and this happens. I'd ask for your support, but you've already given so much to the cause. Obviously i shall be looking into this matter very seriously, and shall be pursuing every option available to me.

    Hey ...idea....sell him your site templates for $500 and use it to advertise saladgamers...doesnt really matter if he has the same site yours was here 1st and now we all know about it he wont have many games on it :)

    2 people can have the same site but its the traffic that matters!

    Probably just a matter of time before somebody did that. You got there first though and the gamesalad community is already aware of your site. So this other guy will probably struggle to get users on the site.

    1) I don't see the problem here as the page doesn't load for me.

    2) I don't see why someone would pay for clone of your website. There are like what... 100 developers around here? ...so, we're taking a site... GameSalad.com and splintering it... saladgamers... and then splintering it again? Who's going to want to buy a clone of a fansite?

    This seems more like a compliment. The developers here are not likely to support any saladgamer clones. And as mentioned yesterday, a site like this needs developer support to be successful. So, if your site is worth stealing, it must have some value.

    I like to think saladgamers 'adds value' to GameSalad.com as opposed to splintering it. They do very different things.

    @mrfunkleberry I agree with you that this is not a good thing for GS member 'cmasterenko' to be doing, and maybe he would like to comment on his actions. My first thoughts are that it would be pointless him cloning the site for use as a duplicate GS fansite, although I am not condoning his actions, maybe he likes your site and wants to set up something similar to advertise all Apple apps, so nothing to do with GS apps.

    Busted!!

    Doesn't he need to work with Gendai to check our GS credentials (and pull in our apps)... If so, if they withhold this info it will not work the same so he will have spent all that money only to have something which doesn't work...

    As he can't get round this it won't link to GS and the functionality will not be the same.

    His Indians will find this out when the project is 80% complete, they will then ask him for GS access and he won't be able to get it.

    It will get messy, I have a feeling!

    Thanks for all your kind words of support. I'd like to think we can put this behind us, move on to bigger, more important things.

    As to the future of SaladGamers.com, we'll have to wait and see. I wanted to do something for the community, not fight a war, i certainly never EVER wanted any part in a hate campaign. Never for one second did i think something like this would happen. Building the site has been an exhausting process, and yes it’s cost a few pennies, but your support has made is more than worthwhile. I’m sure tomorrow i’ll feel better about it, and i’ll be back to promoting your great games as usual. (too that end, i’ll plug my last post http://gamesalad.com/forums/topic.php?id=6964 :) .)

    However, if the battle proves too much, at least i can get back to game development!

    I feel your anger is entirely justified and I hope that helps validate your feelings. (I'm serious, I know it sounded like a weird thing to say but if this happened to me I'd want people reminding me it was justified.)

    I hope one of the Indian coders he wants to hire for cheap scams him.
