    @tshirtbooth: First off, thanks for posting that video. I have watched it many times. I have been having problems with keychain ID problems when I launched gameviewer proj in xcode. It finally took but now when I click on build and run I get this error. I have followed your tut on this and have renamed the the info.plst and "got info" on the game viewer, etc., but now I have this snag. So close.

    @rebump: what info should I post?

    THANKS!!!

    Are you using xcode beta 4.2? We're not supposed to be using that to load the viewer, correct?
  • Rob2Rob2 Member Posts: 2,402
    thats the compiler, not xcode.
  • DookiDooki Member Posts: 247
    @Rob2: Nope, in the US.
    @butterbean: I'm using ver 3.2.2

    @Rob2: WOW! I changed it to release and re-ran build and presto, It started loading the viewer. Not out of the woods yet.
    - it launched a viewer (faux iPhone) on my desktop. A box popped up saying "Gamesalad Creator not found on network."
    - xcode says GS viewer launched but I have a bunch of yellow tags. I'm posting what I see here:

    Hmm.
    - I still see yellow warnings (please link below)
    - Bottom left says "GDB: Running" and desktop and iphone viewers say "waiting for connection." should this be quick? IT's been several minutes now.

  • DookiDooki Member Posts: 247
    Also, the iphone preview button does not show up in the GS creator.
  • DookiDooki Member Posts: 247

    OK, looked at wiki on this.

    - my acct is activated.
    - I am on the same wifi network. Wiki says to check router for:
    1.Multicast enabled
    2.Allow incoming connections from devices on the local network
    - Where do I find these? They are not the Preference/Sharing folder

    I'm afraid I don't have wireless on my Mac switched on, I am cat5ed to a wireless hub and it has always just worked.

    Hey thanks for your help though. You've got me this far eh? I have just sent a message to tech support. I've been looking through the forums as well. It must NOT be a wifi/ router issue because the viewer was able to load on to my iphone.
