Retina iPad demands
Hey all..
So I made my game for iPhone5, but decided to go universal.
I made all graphics x2, and size :2 for the original iPhone 5 app.. so the retina resolution should be ok..
Universal
But now I try to aim for universal. I used stretch, and on iPad it still looks flawless.. my game is pixelart for the record.
Retina
My only problem is I saw some threads Apple demands developers to take the best of the retina displays, does this mean, for iPad, the actors should be x4?
For the iPhone5 it coudn't be sharper, but for the iPad I do see it could be.. so making it x4 in stead of x2 would do the trick I guess..
Altho.. this would make the imagers twice as heavy, and would increase the game loading time Im afraid.
Questions
-Am I right on all this? And does it indeed increase loading time because of making the images bigger?
-Does stretch, which does stretch the actors a little for iPad, be a problem for Apple to go thru the AppStore authorisation program? I have no problem with the little stretch, there are no black bars, everything is filled and nothing seems cut off..
Grtz,
Bas.

Basic rule for universal built is to start with big screen i.e. work on ipad Landscape or Potrait and make the graphics x2 for retina display and finally adjust the camera for compatibility with iphones.. Well I do not know how it will work vice versa..
Current Projects I am working on: Stupid Duck, Zango's Shark Adventure, AoD: Age of Dragons, Rocket Jump: The Pixel Invaders

Ill just give it a try and upload to App Store then.. Let's see if it gets a reject, if it does I have a problem, because my background for example is too big if i do it x2 for GameSalad, it gives a size error then.
