What MacBook laptop would best for developing on GS

As far as RAM speed, a graphic card and processing the game itself?

    Obviously the best would be a fully specced out current model year macbook Pro or Air. the only real difference between the two is one has a dvd drive and is a bunch heavier.

    Now as far as what you can reasonably use GS on. basically anything that can run the latest OSX is gonna be just fine. you should try a few different screen sizes. i would not suggest anything under the 13" models

    I'm using the MacBook Air 13' with i5 and 4GB Ram from 2013 and it's running pretty well. The monitor is maybe a little bit to small if you want to make games for ipad, but I think this should be possible though. One benefit is, that is really lighweight so that you can carry it easy and work on the go.

    what ever you do, your gonna want to get a regular mouse too. apple will sell you an $80 touchpad mouse, and the laptop will come with a touch pad. but you will want a mouse.
